Yueda Group initially started its undertaking with coal business. By accurately predicting the trend of the energy industry and adopting industrial structure adjustment and large scale strategy, Yueda has actively taken part in the resource industry in recent years. Yueda has established energy bases in places like Shanxi, Shaanxi, Inner Mongolia and Gansu, with a total annual production and sale of 20 million tons.

In particular, the program of Huangling No. 2 Coal Mine in Shaanxi Province produces 10 million tons of coal which is a super-large scale coal mine in the world and takes the third place in China. Moreover, it is one of the biggest economic cooperation programs between Jiangsu Province and Shaanxi Province.

The Yuandatan Mine of Shaanxi Zhongneng Coal Mine Company will have an annual capacity of 5 million tons after completion of construction. The Zhongyang Junshan Coal Mine in Shanxi produces 900,000 tons of coking coal annually. The Wulanqu Coal Mine in Inner Mongolia produces 1 million tons of coal annually. The Bayinmengke Coal Mine in Inner Mongolia produces 1 million tons yearly. The Gansu Wuju Coal Mine, with a total investment of 2.8 billion yuan, will have a capacity of 3 million tons per year when the construction is completed. In the coming years, the annual volume of coal exploited and transported by Yueda will reach 20 million tons.

Meanwhile, Yueda actively marches into the new energy area and develops clean energy industry like photovoltaic power generation and offshore wind power.
